Works For Me Wednesday

This weekend I went to our local farmer's market. One vendor had sweet peppers (cubanelles) priced at 15 for $1. I asked him if that was correct and he said yes. I bought 45 of them, brought them home, chopped and froze them. Now I'll have lots of pepper to use this winter. I may even go back this weekend for more. I like to do this. Buy a lot of something that's really cheap and freeze it for later use. It's a big money saver for me.

I did this with peaches, nectarines, plums, and pears from our farmer's market. So easy! Check it out:
