Kitchen Tip Tuesday

Wash your baggies!

I go through a lot of those ziploc type baggies with my bulk cooking. They are expensive, so I make sure I wash them after every use. After washing them in nice hot, soapy water, I invert them over silverware to dry. That keeps them spread out and open and they dry fairly quick.

Great tip! I do this too! I keep the baggies I use for dry food (crackers, etc.) separate from the others and just shake those out and reuse them for the same type of items. The others I wash in hot soapy water and invert over whatever happens to be on my counter at that moment! The snack size always go over the sink sprayer because it's a perfect size!
